Went for my first movie yesterday in aust!! Step up 2! The cheapest tix is on tue which is $7. Then onto coldrock!! yum yum! This is cookies and cream+rum & raisin+ cookie dough+mars bar all mixed together. Will only try it once cos it's sooo expensive. $9.60 for that!

Then went to easter show on sat. Wanted to go and check out what was the big deal about but relly it's not that fun actaully. just get to see and touch lotsa animals and probably watch a few stunt shows.

Oh the easter show was held at Olympic Park which was the place for Sydney olympic 2000. Think this is the place where they play baseball. This was called the arena and it was used to showcase motorbike stunts which were really cool and horses jumping over obstacles.
Didnt want to buy lunch at the place cos we were going around the food convention trying out all the food samples. But didnt want to ill treat my tummy so i bought a burger. $6 chicken burger!!! faints.

Then the previous sat we went to northern sydney. blues point. was organised by focus, a bible study grp in uni.

The first time i see the moon in sydney.The bottom part is lights from houses. No idea why, but the moon seems brighter than in spore and prettier too. The chinese phrase that describes overseas moon is prettier is so apt at that point. Oh and cos there are very little clouds here, the sky is always clear(and hence the really hot sun) i can see ALOT of stars here! REally really pretty! This is taken from the balcony of my unit. I think i have a really gd unit cos we are the highest and last unit so we get the last block. Although the bus depot is behind, jieyu and i often stand out in the balcony to 'chui feng'
Library lawn. This was taken on the 1st day i landed in sydney. No one here in this pic but now that sch has started there are loads of pple sitting on the grass and benches. It is really common to sit around and have ou rlunch. I think if this is done in spore, we will look retarded.

Open closet. dont really like it cos then the dust will all land on the clothes. And the shelves have hole in between. Gets on my nerve sometimes.

My table! The table lamp cost me 50 bucks!! faints. but no choice.. need a bright white light to study. Cant survive with the yellow ceiling lamp they provide. The laptop is so huge that it is taking half the table space la. Nus peeps! see the HUGE pic that is on my table! i see u guys everyday. (:
My closet after putting the stuff in it. See the highest shelf? That is a whole row of junk food that i have bought to stock up. There's nachos, chocs, chicken biscuit, arnotts pizza, uncle tobys, instant noodles. Only started on chicken biscuit and still not done. Bought them cos they are on offer. Can eat them slowly. (:
My first home cooked meal since arriving in sydney. Cooked together with jieyu. We finished almost the whole pan but had a lil bit of leftovers. Silly me thought that i bought pork mince but i ended up taking lamb mince from the supermkt. I really thot i saw pork . No wonder when we were cooking it there was a weird smell.
City tour. This is some replica at the Queen Victoria Building. It has some high class boutiques around. Love the victorian structure of the building.

Crumpler!! The designs and colours in there are so much nicer than in spore. But it is not any cheaper when we convert the rartes. And those rainbow coloured ones are limited edition ones for mardi gras. Cost 240!!
Went to a hat shop and tried on lotsa hats. We were totally making a fool of ourselves. But it's quite cool to wear them around (:

Yesterday had a free day off so we went to explore a part of the city. Went to birkenhead point where there are lotsa factory outlets for many of the brands. Didnt spend alot of time shopping there cos we went in the afternoon and didnt want to bore the guys too.
The shopping centre is located beside the marina. Really pretty. See me carrying those plastic bags. We were doing grocery there too.
