My last entry in Singapore. So glad that i postponed my flight from 24th feb to 28th feb. Cos i get to celebrate my bday here.(: Perhaps for the fact that im leaving for down under tmr, my relatives gave me really HUGE angbaos. *beams* but cant use them until im back 4 months later. Note to frens: 4 months time!! date me for food outings alrights!!
Dear family and friends, i will take proper care of myself over there. No idea whether i will cry tmr at the airport or while im in aust feeling stressed and alone. But i believe im a strong girl and will adapt to life there asap. Do drop me an email every now and then to keep me updated about things happening in spore. So this is goodbye, for now. Love u all very much!! <3

And so i had my last farewell party with the nus pple on mon at marina square. First it was k-ing session with esther, terenze, yanping, qingwen, wee keat, yiki, yingqi for 5 hours. yeah!! One of the more hilarious moment was that we found a chinese song named 'nu ren jing tong shi' which translates to 'when women have cramps'. The lyrics was stupid beyond words. And guess what is the chorus: Im menstruating. No wonder that song can never be popular.

Then onto WARAKU!! *jumps ard* and bcos dear yiki made a booking beforehand for 16 pple, we got a cosy little room where we made helluva noise. It is so rare that almost the full force of aztec appear together. Yiki says im very da pai because everyone give me face by turning up *beams*. Anyhow, whatever the reason, it was really nice to meet them altogether. Now let's see who turned up. There were the pple from the k session plus yating, singyung, grace, jiamin, wee keong, jiaying, joelyn, xueying, ian, huiping.
While waiting for the late comers to arrive, we self entertain ourselves and started writing belated birthday cards for the november, december, january and mar babies. Weird yes, but it will be realy difficult for all of us to gather again as a big group. So might as well make use of this opportunity. (:
Then came the *drum rolls* home-made tiramisu cake for terenze and i!!!!! really really nice!!! I was eating the cake real slowly cos i was savouring the cake. hehe.. so.. YIKI I LOVE YOUR CAKE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! yum yum (:
Not forgetting the lovely present that they prepared for me. It's a black and purple puma jacket that is chosen by esther and qingwen. Thank you all so much. I will definitely wear it at aussie and think of ya.(:
It was then photos, photos and more photos. At one point i felt like i was mickey mouse bcos i just stood at the same spot and waited for pple to come take photos with me. So that's how a disney character feels like.
And then happy moments had to end so soon. It's back to reality
after dinner outside waraku with yating (we were the last customers to leave at 11 and could tell that the waiters all wanted to leave alr) I wont delete this photo from my phone!(:

Imagine this. A billiard room with 3 girls holding 2 sticks with 2 white balls on the table, playing the game simultaneously (as in poking the 2 white balls at the same time) and moving the white balls to positions that will assist in achieving the aim of the balls falling into the holes.
Oh yeah. That's what we girls did in our effort to clear the table as fast as possible. But still, with all these 'assistance', we took 45 mins!
That is in addition to playing mahjong at super fast speed (5 mins for a game), taking retarded photos, talking to each other at the top of our voices between the function room and billiard room which has a sliding door that cannot be opened, being cautious to a suspicious guy who was lurking outside the billiard room and later at the function room while we play mahjong, choosing the most expensive side orders in the pizza combo set to make our money worth (so auntie ya).

Havent been blogging the past few days because i have been too nua. And also because i was watiting for andrew to send us the photos taken at my farewell dinner AND cny. So andrew, if u are reading this, get the card reader and the cable, transfer the photos to ur com and start sending to us!! sheesh. u are so SLOW!
I think i have not said that i love my S11 classmates. ALOT! Had dinner with them at cafe cartel on friday (wanted to eat at waraku but there were too many of us and the restaurant was too crowded) yepp.. they are sooo sweet. Esp puei san for putting in so much effort, time and heart-work into making the farewell gift for both jieyu and me. It is a simple wooden box FULL of sweets (im eating one a day and i think i will get cavities soon or sth) and chocolates. Therein lies messages from them that made me tear while reading them at home. And not forgetting the early bday present they got me: a pair of leather gloves!! Athough my sis says the weather in sydney is not that cold such that gloves are needed, i will still bring it there.(:
Then it was the usual photo taking, chatting, gossiping and laughing. We waited there till 9pm so that we could get the 50% discount of the cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake. yum yum. I was probably too full from dinner and cakes and cookies AND i laughed so much that too much air entered such that i puked out my dinner. yes yes. totally embarassing. Lucky andrew passed me a plastic bag otherwise i would have messed up the table AND my clothes. phew. And to think that yanning and choon yong thot i was faking it cos choon yong was singing some weird song. Went home to tell my sisters and they laughed at me.
So lesson learnt: either never eat too full if i think im gonna laugh alot
or never laugh too much if im very full
I think the latter applies more for me.

And because i was too engrossed with mahjong, i got back at 11 plus to receive scoldings from my parents. boohoo!! Sometimes i wish my parents weren't so strict with us, esp with the time that we come home. But that means they are concerned about us and for our safety. (:

OOhh then photos from tcher's visiting on chu san. (have to do a separate post from the family photos else it will be ifficult for me to type here) our 3rd year going to these 3 jc tchers hses!! So nice of them to let us visit them. But puei san and i were saying that next yr might not have a chance to do visiting because chu san wont be a holiday. :(
First stop was mrs ting's hse. Stayed at her hse the longest (2hrs) this yr to make up for our short 20 mins visit last yr.
Then onto mr lee's hse. Seriously, he always dress the same every yr. It never changes.
And it was fun when he gamely answered us abt tcher's gossips.And now he noes all our dark secrets abt the various tchers whom we make fun of or didnt like.
As usual, mr lee follows us to visit mrs cheng's hse. And buttons is soooo cute! I so dont noe how to carry a dog. he looks like he is falling off my arms.
With pple bringing cameras, of course there will be cam-whoring. Waiting at the bus stop to go to parkway for lunch.
And i have just helped choon yong and andrew profess their love for each other on the internet. haha.. so sweet ya

So is muhammad's arm. Waiting at the bus stop for the rest to come. Everyone was LATE!!
yanning, mrs ting, me. Mrs ting's hair grew alot longer. she says she didnt want to cut this yr or sth.
ok so here's buttons, with him being cuddled comfortably.
And bbq at choon yong's hse, with us having late dinner at 9 cos all of us wanted to watch ugly betty on his desktop. He has ALL the dramas from desperate housewives to grey's anatomy to brothers and sisters. EVERYTHING! sheesh. Calling me a tv addict is an understatement.

CNY has been over for a week alr. The pigging otu has stopped and the running has started! hehe.. And the pics are here! but there is no photos of theodore cos he was sleeping while we were all taking photos. Didnt want to disturb the king lest he became a grouchy boy who was rather poor thing cos he had been sick throughout the cny period with high fever. Thank God he is alright now and no need to give in to him anymore!! heehee..

My pineapple tarts!! or rather my sister and mine pineapple tarts! It was a joint effort(: And contrary to my other family member's belief, it is still really nice after a few days in the container!!
Fresh from the oven!!
At the end of the day, we had 4 of these containers, another container that is with cherry jam and another container that had chocolate chips added to the dough( it was too difficult to do the shape at the end so it was odd shaped chocolate chip cookie)
And onto the 10 course that is prepared by daddy!! He started preparation from abt 10am today and finished at abt 7. Totally tiring day for him. The food was super super delicious though. hoho..
Braised duck that had crispy skin on the outside. wasnt placed in the oven though. think was done under high heat in the wok.
Brocolli with prawns
Sweet and sour pork ribs. This was really really nice
eefu/egg noodles with scallop and prawns
This pic is really badly taken. didnt notice while taking the pic. anw.. this is sea cucumber with pork.
deep fried sea bass with sweet and sour sauce. yum.
steamed black promfret
pig's stomach. first time eating this. chewy chewy. the soup is really tasty and tasted sth like bak kut teh.
pencai!! wow there's lotsa food at the bottom of the pot. prawns, fresh scallop, dried scallop, abalone, straw mushroom, chinese mushroom, baby bamboo shoots, cabbage. tasty yummy sweet soup. (:
Honey glazed roasted chicken cooked from the oven. crispy skin and juicy on the inside.
Like what theodore always says when there is delicious food, 'yummy for my tummy!' This is sooo true. After cny, it is so time for me to go running.
Oh and mahjong, i have an overdose of it alr. lol
