Let's see. Today's 2 tests were quite a flop for me cos i dont noe how to ans correctly alot of questions (complementary med) and i misread the qns (biochem). I have no idea how i am going to pull up my grades for biochem. Anyhow, im just happy that it is over. For now. Have to start for genetics(gasp! the most hateful mod) which is on tue. But these couple of hours will be tests free.
Yingqi and i decided to give ourselves a treat by going shopping. For presents actually. And i think we came up with a really gd idea. *grins* Dinner was at tian jin restaurant which is at bras basah. Love the zha jiang mian although the portion was kinda small. The guo tie though was simply delicious! and each of us ate 5. Yum! wanted to order the red bean pancake that was supposedly to be nice but we didnt have enough time cos she had to go back to sch for care grp.
And dear yiki was late. as usual. We were supposed to go for a talk at his church. The topic tonight was 'the type of world we live in' and the speaker linked it to christianity. If the speaker had presented in in english and not canto with a mandarin translator at the side, i would have appreciated it more. Luckily there was an instant eng translator by my side:yiki. And i realised that my standard of chi isnt as gd as i thot it would be bcos i couldnt understand or catch some partsof the mandarin translation either. Dont bother asking me to listen to canto cos i can understand a single word. Want to attend the one tmr which is on making ethical decision in pov of christian but it's my nephew 5th bday (man, time is passing sooo fast!).
After the talk we went to liang seah st's ah chew dessert. Forgot to take photo but the mango sago with pomelo is really nice and refreshing. Just nice for someone who is feeling hot. But not advisable for the diabetics cos it's really sweet. Expensive though. It cost 3.80 per bowl. Anw, the main point is that i reached home at 1130 and i got scolded AGAIN! For coming home late and apparently my curfew is 1030(i didnt noe that until now). Mum said i shouldnt be eating dessert and should come home straight away. Oh wells.. i will try the next time. But the desserts are really nice to eat!!

Wanted to put qingwen's bday celebration in the same post but seeing that there are so many pics and blogger is giving me headache in uploading photos, i have to separate them. Dinner at jeju resaturant which is along seah st. Went there upon recommedation from my sis fren. The food was simple and nice yet we were the only customers there until when we were abt to leave, a middle aged couple came in. Dont understand why there is a lack of customers. Love the kimchi! Oh wells, at least we could be super noisy without feeling paiseh. What's new? hahas. After that, went liang seah st for dessert!! I was stuffed!

2 birthdays in a week! I'm a happy girl when there is celebrations cos it means eating out, having fun and having a respite from studies!
Mon was my mum's birthday and we went newyork newyork at city link for dinner. Reached there earlier about half an hr earlier than the rest so i decided to buy donuts from donut factory. Perhaps the excitement is dying down cos the queue there has become extremely short. I reached the counter after 15 mins but spent another 10 mins to wait for my fave double choc to be fried. And after i got my box of 6, i was a happy girl!
Then onto ribs, chicken, burger, fries and free candy floss (:
