In less than 6 hours, it will be 2007!!! The year has passed really fast. Can't believe that i have graduated out of jc and have stopped schooling albeit only temporarily. My sister says my brain is getting rusty after being a couch potato for so long. And i kinda agree with her. Anyway, to all those out there,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!hopefully 2007 will be a good year for all of us (:Just received an invitation from ministry of home affairs for a scholarship talk. Being the lazy me, i didnt want to go but unfortunately my parents opened up the letter before me and they are now nagging me to go for the talk to check it out. Seriously, all of these kind of talks are about the same. They will glorify theirown scholarship and ask those scholars to give their past experience. Momentarily, you will be attracted to it but after a while the excitement just dies down. Anyway, since i'm practically forced to go for it, is there anyone who will also be going for it? Contact me!! hee hee! i dont want to be bored to death by the speakers without anyone talking to me. My travel plan is almost done!! Yipee!!

Planning an itenary for the whole family is no joke!! Sitting in front of the computer the whole day and reading up on all the many places in hong kong can get a tad tiring. Still must plan the route for the day and calculate the more affordable transport expenses. And also must calculate the expected amount of money that will be spent over the 5 days. Didnt know that free and easy travel can be rather sian. Well maybe it only applies for this trip coz the whole family is going. The funny thing is we had to psycho my nephew to really love disneyland coz at first he was very scared about going to the rides and meeting the characters. But after a while, he is super excited about the trip and goes around announcing to the whole world including his teachers.
Hong Kong in 4 days time!! woo hoo!!
There is finally a mahjong set at home! yipee!! Been waiting for it for ages. Now must go read up on the rules coz i'm not very sure. Usually it's the others who remind me along the way. hee hee. can teach my parents.

Christmas is in 2 days time!! Yeah! One of the things that i love about x'mas is receiving and sending out christmas cards. Today alone i received a whopping 6 cards in the post! So happy!! I just love the anticipation of guessing who the sender is before i open the envelope. Usually i'm able to guess it right by looking at the handwriting in front or if they put their own home address at the back :D Putting the home address at the back is a good idea for pple like me who who always misplace things like address books and autograph books. Scatterbrain.
ARgh!! so irritated with ares!! it's not searching for the mp3!! Getting on my nerves. "Performing search, please wait" Right, is this a test of my patience when i have waited for the last half hour or so.
The radio is playing christmas songs again. I may love christmas but isnt the xmas songs playing a little too frequent already

Friday's dim sum buffet at dragon gate restaurant with andrew, michael and hong jun was great! YUM YUM!! Ordered so much food that the table seemed a tad too small. I think all of us had a kinda phobia against prawns since almost every dish has prawns in them. Haha! The price was very affordable at $15 after all the extra charges. Cheaper than sakae sushi and i think it is more worth the money spent!
Went out with my sisters yesterday for shopping. Of course not forgetting my dearest nephew. He is really one hungry kid! Every 2 hours he will complain that he is hungry! And so we will always have to find some food to his liking. It cannot be any kind of food, mind you. It must be chosen by him!!! Goodness!! He is worse than me when i was young. At least i ate almost anything that was given to me as long as my stomach was satisfied. That's why my sisters always say that it is expensive to bring me out coz i eat too much, unless i'm going for a buffet. Speaking of him being a fussy pot, he INSISTS on having this retarded looking rudolf bread at breadtalk just because he wants to eat the cherry which is its nose. SPOLIT BRAT!! haha.. And he refused to walk and him coz he is too hungry to move. So all of us ended up waiting for him to finish eating at the basement wisma.
Meanwhile, we were hiding behind him to take photos while his whole face was covered with chocolate.
He is really concentrating eating his bread!!
After his tummy was satisfied, we then went over to check out the newly opened gap store. Find that the designs are nothing much. Just the usual GAP word splashed across the front of a top. But we found that some of the bags were really nice and they are made of genuine leather!! woo hoo!! but of course the price tag is also very nice (: Moved on to the gap kids section and made my nephew try on some clothes. He looked quite cool in them. He himself wants to take photo of the clothes he tried.

He insists on trying on this green jacket coz he thinks it is similar to the boy who acted in high school musical. Gosh his memory is good.
Hmm.. it's raining again. Guess our clothes wont dry again. This is probably what i hate about rainy seasons.

I just cut my hair!! My head feels so much lighter now. I didnt shorten it but just asked the lady to layer the inside. I dont know if it is because her layering skilss is super good but now there is this small tuft of short hair that are standing up at the center of my head. Imagine a lot of those lightning rods. Now i've got lotsa of those stray hairs flying around like some feng po.
Just finished watching goong 1.5 on youtube. Although the chinese subtitles are really minute and i have to periodically pause the show to read the subtitles slowly, the show was really funny. They showed alot of NG and behind the scene filming. I kinda miss watching the show. Feel like watching it again. Haha. A bit of the waste time. i think I can declare myself as a goong addict!! I downloaded the whole ost and even found the perhaps love score on the net. There may be a goong s but sadly it is not the original story or cast. Just a rip off of the title to gain popularity. Can't wait for season 2 with their new songs.
I think what makes a good drama is not only the fantastic cast (with good looks and acting), the original and interesting storyline but also the music ost. Thumbs up for the person who first came up with the idea of playing appropriate and great music in the background while the drama unfolds. The music can really tug one's heartstrings and get pple hooked onto the drama AND the songs.
Darn. I wanna learn korean!
There might be a possibility that my family is goign to hong kong in jan!!!!! woo hoo!! Was quite dissappointed that there wasnt any travelling this year but things may just change :D I may just have to start doing the itenary! ( which i really hate)

Right. So after more than half a year of a stagnant blog and an expired chatterbox, I have changed my skin and creating new posts. But i think the lazy me might very well abandon the blog again after i start working next year. Actually, i'm not even sure what i will be working as but it will probably be some king of admin stuff. Just waiting for the employment agency to call me up and offer me a job.
Come to think of it, this will be my very first job! woo hoo!! i can get to earn money!! But the amount will definitely not be alot. As expected. 6 months temp job for someone with zero experience.
Prom was over 5 days ago. And like with all other JCs, the food was really not up to standard. The 6-star hotel brand name of Ritz-Carlton should really be reconsidered. A teeny weeny portion of each dish which i think my father can cook even better! Although prizes were fantastic, none of our classmates won. And somehow, there was something lacking that night. Something that i wished i could hold on to and hoped the night would be longer. It wasnt there. I had enjoyed my sec 4 graduation night even better. Although there weren't any lucky draws, no bands playing, no prom queen/king whatsoever, no oscar award, no fashion runway, no trying-to-be hilarious-but-not-at-all-funny emcee, I had more fun in 2004 than in 2006. Funny eh.
But i had fun when yingqi came over to do make up togehter and i had a last minute unexpected decision to change my dress.
