I finally have nothing to do with music. After yesterday's theory exam, i am through with classical music. Our friendship ends here. No more saying i cant go for this or that on fri afternoons coz i no longer have to go to my music tcher for lessons. Nope, i'm not going to pursue diploma. I feel that i do not have the calibre to go through all that. i barely passed grade 8 with 4 marks and that was because the examiner was super nice although i knew i flopped the scales. Going for diploma is tantamount to suicide! Come to think of it, this is a really expensive hobby. Concentrated on grade 8 theory only this year and for this exam i spent about $1800 on the piano fees alone. That doesnt even include the 100 plus bucks for the exam fees. Almost 2000 in a year!! I guess I should be able to pass the exam *hopefuls*. Tcher is alwyas complaining that she is afraid that i will fail and i may have to waste time and come back to her next year. She has a knack for making me feel guilty and making me feel so worthless that i will study hard or practice hard to pass the exam. Good psychological tactic that can be put to future use.;>
I realise that today is the last day of oct. Just a year ago i was mugging away for the Os. It's so scary that it is the end of year 1. I have the feeling that the Os just finished only! Sheesh.. sometimes i really wonder is it because the earth is rotating at a faster speed so much so that time literally flies past our eyes without us knowing. Time is sometimes a very scary tool. It can make or break a person's future. Hmm.. i dont noe what i am talking alr. It's 136 in the morning and im still half way through mt I&R. The mind is not really sound at this time.

Alright I will 'fess up. I went taiwan last week. I told the tcher yest that i was sick on thurs and was late on fri. I didn't even bat an eye when i said that. Shuang! The most exciting part of all is that i took the airplane back all by myself and walked ard ximending by myself. Took the train and asked for directions in a foreign cty. Yipee! So proud of myself! Oh i didnt go to taiwan alone. That will be rediculous! My parents went there the next day coz there was no seats on my flight. But my sister was there working for a few weeks so we get free accomodation. :)

promos are over! yeah!! It's back to a normal life..or so i think it is.. Anyhow, it will be a fun-filled holiday for me! I will be going to taiwan(whee!) and cambodia for overseas cip and then probably i'm gonna be an ogl (although haven't gone for any interview but i think most of the pple will be able to get in lah. just hope that it won't be as bad as the time for hse comm). But this also means that my plan to find some job and earn some cash has gone down the drain. again. Can't believe that i had wanted to find hol job since sec 3 but have been putting if off coz of hol programme in sch.
Really excited about the cambodia thingy. Seems like that there r lotsa pple who go for this kinda trips esp mission trips organised by churches. The things is i have to go for vaccinnations!URGH! hate needles! And i guess i will just go for all 3 jabs at one go to save me the trouble of going back there again. The influenza jab will definitely be interesting coz u might fall sick after the jab so that the body will create its own immune system to fight the bacteria. Everybody at home said that it will be tough going there n it won't be just like any other holiday. Yeah, i agree. A test physically and mentally. Tacky as it sounds, but it will be a whole new experience for me to go to ulu land to build well and stuff. Dad says that i sould start training myself up by cutting the grass in the garden. Right. I will just faint from exhaustion or sth doing that all by myself in that large area. But then again, he has been doing it all this while and he is alright. Hmm.. i will just stick to sweeping and mopping the flr.
Going for yellow belt grading tmr! I will be wearing coloured belt from now on! haha! yippee!! We were saying this morning that once we go up to green belt, those unpro pple wont noe the difference between the diff colour levels and so we can pass off as pros. haha.. ;) All of us are aiming to at least reach blue belt by next year before A levels. Can tell that everyone also wants to double coz sir always say we can get it but it is up to the judge on that day of grading. Must see his mood and standard on that day. So far only ee may got double. Oh yes that reminds me that jia hui and i will be able to see joel again tmr! haha! But i doubt he can remember us. After all he is only in K1 but he is the same belt level as us. So can imagine how huge we must have look doing the pattern together with kids that are less that half our ht.
