i hate sewing!!!
sewing is the bane of my existence!!!
i have no clue on how to hem up the skirt and neither does my mum.
this is really killing me. have i said that i totally dislike sewing. let me reinterate again:

first day of orientation and im truely enjoying it.. yea be enthu and go really siao and o2 will be fun. i guess being a ogl really does make a difference.yepp and i actually KNOW how to do some of the mass dances. 2nd intakers.. well not many as far as i can see. we were all expecting maybe some eye candy or chio bu from the newbies but haha.. no such luck. am ogl for s62 and although most of the pple turned up today, they kinda gpt scattered everywhere in the sch. yea.. they are really nice pple, hope can get to know more of them better during the world tour! our plans for tme for the amazing is prob to finish a few stations (with the one at tj included) before going somewhere to slack during lunch and to play cards!!
i have not bought my uniforms coz the queue was super long like some snake today.
and have to alter the skirt like ALOT. pissed off. going to end up with lotsa pricked fingers or something from sewing.

due to choon yong's constant nagging abt my blog being super stale and stagnant, i shall blog abt today then. Went to city hall mrt at abt 1220, thinking that i was fashionably late alr and other pple were waiting there. well sorta.. one person that is: tailong. then along came susanto and choon yong while i was leaning somewhere to read Today. cut the crap short: went to eat lunch at food court before meeting the rest at the mrt agn. walked a super long way to the museum and headed to a small obscure room on the 2nd level. saw ms lui's weddind photos. she looked very pretty and different!no wonder pple say that when a woman gets married she will look very chio. and i really applaud the photographer's concepts coz one batch of those photos had a 'doggie' story in it. and one of her red gowns was very unique. even her wedding gown was unique. ms lui doesnt look like the type who will wear a gown that show her back while being covered bt a see through cloth.
went into the room and had to stand ard coz apparently she didnt exactly save seats for us. genna pushed from one corner of the room to the other. saw lotsa vj teachers and we started bursting out in laughter upon seeing the chem teacher who taught us sigma and pi bonding. anw we were complaining why the J2s had a seat while her CT had to stand up when one of those pple came up to us to fill up the empty seats. in the end we got to sit at the VIP rows on the groom's side. guess the groom didnt have as many guests as the bride.
the ceremony was boring esp the part where the pastor yakked and yakked to the couple abt the dos and dont's after marriage. in 2 languages somemore!! then had the usual stuff.. signing of cert and the exit with a big bang: literally. the sweetes thing was the video clip put together by their frenz: lotsa effort to be put in for this and even having to act idiotic and pretending to be roysten adn shirley, re-enacting how they first met. hmm... then after that had photo taking session. amazingly, colleagues and friends precedes over friends coz we got to take before they did. yepp.. had tea reception and gave her the presents and took another photo with the couple. and found out from her that they will be going to maldives for honeymoon. lotsa couples are going for the sun, sea and beach for honeymoon. even mrs c went to mauritius last yr. so shuang.
march hols may be coming but im not exactly looking forward to it. mon and tue having camp and guess what, im supposed to have 3 camps. brilliant. but wont be going for interact at all. going for hse comm on the first day, staying overnight and prob going for taekwondo the next day but not sure whether going to sentosa in the afternoon to join the hse comm after that. wed going to telok kurau pr for a day camp for the kids. thurs must go back to sch for the orientation2 meeting and see if i can sneak off to join sqd outing for bowling!! yeah!! that's the only thing im looking forward to. fri prob going out with CC to east coast for cycling. hai... even before the hols start, my schedule is already packed. and here i was gloating abt the others having training and sch activities during the hols

been refreshing the 2nd page for the past 2 hrs. there isnt any progress at all.
and i haven even counted in the 2 hrs i spent yesterday either.

mon was a super long day. met up with eileen, elaine, trin, lor, shun, kezia, shuyu, cheryl at 9 at dhobby gaut mrt. then we went to eat breakfast at macs. created quite a scene coz there were so many of us in sch u that it seems that we were all mass ponning. couldnt find seats inside so the macs crew arranged some tables and chairs outside for us. sat dwn and chat and followed up on shun and kezia's 'stalkers' but they didnt say much coz they were super irritated with them. later we went to catch howl's moving castle. lor and kez didnt want to watch it coz they had seen it before but we said all of us chipped in to pay half the price of each tix so bith of them watched it twice. nice story although it gets quite puzzling in the end. quite hilarious too esp with the ol' 'granny' and the fire. wanna get my hands on the score of the theme song.
show ended at 1245 i think then we had to rush all the way back to amk. on the way in the train ride, lor and shuyu were calling their jnrs who have received their chi results alr. the cohort didnt do very well as compared to previous yrs. then everyone startd to freak out. i mean as a cohort we really thought we were the cleverer batch coz for prelims and in terms of hardworkingness, we were better than the red batch. with this info coupled with shuyu's constant " oh no, im so scared" or something to that extent, all of us were really freaked.
back in sch, everyone were straming into the hall at 145. with all the hugs and his, we finally settled dwn to cheong's irritating " tong xue men, zhong wu hao". as usual we couldnt care less abt her, muttering that she will shut up and just let us have our results. and with all the hilabaru, they started to present the result slips to those that have 8, 9, 10 A1s to their name. as usual, my class stole the limelight agn. an estimated of half the class was gone by the time the 3 categories were done. my frenz and i were sitting there freaking out coz our name wasnt called and thought we must have done really bad. then we walked really slowly to the front of the hall, along hte way hugging those who went up onstage to receive their results. by the time i was hugging the 3rd or 4th person, i think i was getting ready to cry alr. when i have finally reached et, my hand was alr trembling. got the slip and saw all As but i didnt dare and coulndt remeber how to count the L1R5 so i asked shuyu to help me count. then she said whether my chi got a1 and i said ya and then she said i have 6 pts. one word to describe that moment: shocked. i really couldnt believe it lah! i went out of the hall and called home and somehow when i said that i had 6 pts, i started to cry. my parents thought that i did very badly and asked me to repeat what i said. they asked whether i was laughing or crying. guess i scared the hell out of them. hee.
later went back into the hall and startd to msg alot and to hug lotsa pple esp the sj pple. hahas.. then gen passed me this big blue heart for my bday and i actually carried that all around orchard without a plastic bag.. heehee..all of us forgot to eat our lunch so we went to the canteen and ate my much-missed orange bowl stall: lao shu fen gan jia yi dian la jiao jia dou ya. yeah and also got iced tea! missed uncle mobin's ice tea so much.. it was delicious.. hahas.. nv knew that i would miss the canteen food so much after spending 10 yrs there.
headed to town after that. walked to heeren and shop for a while. shun was buying a pair of earrings at 77th st and she asked which pair was nicer so i pointed to the smaller one. then she bought an extra pair for me as bday present. apparently everyone of them forgot that my bday was the previous day.. tsktsk. later walked to taka and shun had to leave for ballet. walked ard there and pei loreen to shop for her sport shorts. moved from the nike shop to adidas shop to the stadium and still couldnt find a nice pair. forget it so we said we go and have our dinner first. shuyu wanted to go and have crystal jade xiao long bao but along the way we kinda changed our minds coz we suddenly wanna eat jap food. sushi tei, here we come!! yupps.. loreen treated me to dinner as mt bday prezzie. after that went to nike shop and lor finally bought a pair of shoes for her netball.. the shoes were really nice.. i like it! somehow somebody said something sbt getting a clique ring although xinhui and shun were not there. anyhow, we went to bits n pieces and chose the same type of ring each. since the first 5 letters were free, we engraved the letters CC on one side and part of our name on hte other. put mine as DO.
after the long day we all parted at 10... sobs.. dunno when i will meet up with them agn. so difficult to arrange a time together. but after that day, i realised that it is so much better and easier to go shopping with gal frenz than with guys
